Fantastic addition to any bed – water bed or other! We have water beds in our house and ordinary beds but all 7 people living here use a water pillow!
My son, 14 yrs old, commented that he’d tried to go to sleep with an ordinary pillow and struggled (he had stripped the cover off the water pillow and not replaced with clean!), so changed to the water pillow (minus case!) and went straight to sleep. He had only been using a water pillow 13 days.

We have had water pillows for a number of years, a great success.
Recently my wife has been having problems with making & changing the bed due to the weight of water in the pillows.

Empty the water out and fill with air! ( just bulk up the empty pillow blow into it and refit seal; if to full release seal till air will pass and squeeze till right for you). works a treat nearly or as good as water filled and light weight.

Having had the waterbed for 30 years, I’ve thought several times about getting water pillows but have always thought them to be a bit expensive. Also, I’m fussy about the height of my pillows and usually use two, one thick and one thin, to get the right height.
But a special offer at Aquaglow for some ex-showroom pillows made me decide to give them a try, and they are great! It took us a little while to get used to them (I’m still not convinced about the height thing), but they are so comfortable and relaxing.
They are a bit heavy to move, which makes snuggling up to your partner with your pillow a thing of the past; but on the plus side I no longer end up squished against the side of the bed for that very same reason!

Very comfortable but they have gone all mildew spots on the side touching the waterbed mattress. Anyone else had that experience? Smell musty also!

Hi Becks, It sounds like a problem with your waterbed mattress or waterbed heater and not with the waterpillow. I think it is getting mildew underneath because your waterbed is turned down to cold. And that may be encouraging the mildew.

I HAVE JUST ORDERED 2 WATER PILLOWS AND CAN’T WAIT TO RECEIVE THEM. I MADE A MISTAKE WITH MY DELIVERY ADDRESS SO PHONED AND SPOKE TO ADAM WHO RECTIFIED THE PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY AND WITHOUT FUSS. HE TOLD ME THAT THE PILLOWS HAD MISSED TODAYS SHIPMENT BUT WOULD BE DISPATCHED TOMORROW. 20 MINUTES LATER I RECEIVED A CALL FROM ADAM TO SAY THAT THEY COULD SEND THEM TODAY AFTERALL SO I SHOULD RECEIVE THEM TOMORROW. This is an updated review after having the water pillows for several months. Our sleep quality has definitely been better, the pillows are so comfortable to sleep on. I find that 3.5 litres is a good quantity of water to use.
The only problem we’ve found is that the pillows seem to discolour a lot more than ordinary pillows. Both pillows developed severe yellow/brown staining, even with two pillowcases on, and my one in particular was almost black before we washed them. Hand washing didn’t remove all the staining (although it was a big help) as I wasn’t sure if it would be OK to use any heavy-duty cleaners or stain removers in case they damaged the water cushion, so I just did one wash with soda crystals, followed by hand-washing soap. The pillow took 2-3 days to air dry after washing.
We’ve now put both pillows into waterproof pillow protectors as well as the double-pillowcase approach; will see how that goes.

Why on earth did I not buy one of these pillows years ago! I’ve had so many pillows over the years, all different types, some cheap, some expensive, but this pillow, without any doubt, is the best pillow I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend it enough.
