The drill drain kits are an inexpensive way of draining your waterbed. They simply require a power drill to be attached to the shaft to make the pump spin. Where as the big waterbed pumps may be more costly. But you do not need the power drill as these pumps have an electric motor already attached.
The large pumps tend to be much faster and pump more water out of your bed. So your waterbed mattress is not so heavy to pick up afterwards. Although the little drill drain kits manage to do a great job too.
