Aquaglow Waterbeds Terms and Conditions

We want you to be pleased with our products, service and prices.

COLOURS AND WOOD STAINS

Colours and wood stains are consistent and are intended as a guide.

UPHOLSTERED WATERBEDS

Where vinyl is used our vinyl's are tough, durable and long lasting. It is also waterproof and easy to clean. The range complies with all relevant British and European Standards for domestic use.

DELIVERY

We accept and deliver orders within the U.K.

Complete waterbeds are delivered, fitted and filled by Aquaglow's own expert waterbed installers anywhere mainland U.K. if the customer has chosen this option(unless the bed description states otherwise) at both yours and our earliest convenience. This will usually take any time between the next working day to 4 weeks.

Most of our waterbeds are priced up for customer collection. This means you the customer collects the waterbed/s from Aquaglow Waterbeds. If The customer wishing to purchase a waterbed/s would like to collect the bed them selves there would be no packaging cost. If the customer wishing to purchase a complete waterbed/s would like to organise there own collection and delivery via a freight company, can do so at a small nominal fee of £30.00 for extra packaging to the packages. If you wish to cancel the bed order once the bed is ready for collection there will be a small charge of £10.00 extra wrapping fee per box.

Customers who are wishing to purchase a fully fitted and filled waterbed from Aquaglow Waterbeds must first ensure that there is enough parking for a van directly outside the property where the waterbed is to be fitted and filled. Any parking charges incurred or received whilst the waterbed is being fitted and filled will be past on to the customer.

Mail order, all small items generally up to 2kg will be delivered by the Post Office and heavier items by Parcelforce, DHL,TNT or UPS.

For telephone orders, goods will be sent to the debit/credit cardholders address as registered and required by the card issuer.

Goods purchased from our web site, you can elect to have them sent to an alternative address.

Goods not reported as not received 28 days from despatch will be deemed as received.

Goods delivered and not reported as damaged within 3 days from receipt will be deemed as undamaged upon receipt.

DISPATCH

Everything except complete waterbeds, we aim to despatch the same working day. When items are dispatched on the same day, that are below 2kg in weight will normally take 1-3 day delivery by royal mail. Although, unless requested, it is not a guaranteed delivery service used, so Royal Mail do have longer. On 2kg parcels and heavier we aim to despatch the same day for next working day delivery by either Parcel Force, DPD, UPS, DHL. This is not a promised next day delivery. But we all endever to do our very best to get you your goods on time. We do not accept any responsibility for any parcels not being delivered the next day due to unforeseen circumstances.

Most complete waterbeds currently have a lead time of 1-2 weeks from date of deposit. A few popular waterbeds have a 2-3 days collection date. For an accurate collection date please contact us 01772 301922.

FAULTY GOODS

In this extremely rare occurance of a water mattress developing a leak and prior to this all the terms and conditions and instruction manual have been followed, or any other products have developed a fault. In certain cases photographic evidence is required, in other cases Aquaglow Waterbeds may need to inspect the goods for manufactures error or customers accident, then after inspection of the goods Aquaglow Waterbeds will repair or replace or refund at Aquaglow Waterbeds discretion. 

For one year from the date of purchase, we will reimburse our customers reasonable and fair Postage costs for faulty goods.

To avoid delays we ask that you return the goods prepaid with an accompanying note including your name and address and the nature and location of the fault. Once Aquaglow Waterbeds are notified about the fault, the goods must be sent back to Aquaglow Waterbeds and recieved within 7 working days of the original complaint. If goods are received back later than the 7 days then Aquaglow Waterbeds reserve the right to have deemed you have accepted goods.

Any goods returned to us within the guarantee period but proved not to be faulty under our thorough inspection will be returned with postal costs incured.

GOODS RETURNED BUT NOT RECEIVED BY AQUAGLOW.

Aquaglow cannot accept responsibility for goods returned but not received by us.

GUARANTEE

Extended guarantees apply to Private Domesic Dwellings and not to Companies, Businesses or for commercial use eg Hotels, Motels, Bed and Breakfast, Hospices, Hospitals, Nursing homes etc. Companies receive 12 month warranties.

Manufacturers fault on the Mattresses supplied from standard stock sizes :- 5 years seams leak whether fitted by Aquaglow Waterbeds or the customer, except where stated otherwise.

If the customer uses Aquaglow Waterbeds Waterbed conditioner treatment every year, we will keep you on record for adding the waterbed conditioner. The waterbed mattress conditioner treatment is very important for the longevity of a waterbed mattress. So adding recommended waterbed mattress conditioner treatment is of most importance to the waterbed mattress and the extended warranty. Aquaglow Waterbeds recommend any of the waterbed mattress conditioner treatments that are sold on Aquaglow Waterbeds website and can not accept responsibility for any other brands of waterbed mattress conditioner treatment that may have been added to an Aquaglow Waterbed mattress advertently or inadvertently. If the customer chooses to use another waterbed conditioner supplier of the recommended waterbed mattress conditioner treatment, then original evidence of waterbed conditioner being added to the waterbed mattress must be supplied to Aquaglow Waterbeds at date of complaint. If no evidence of the waterbed conditioner treatment is provided, then this will invalidate your 5 years seams leak guarantee.

Specially made, not stocked or special size one off mattresses carry a One year guarantee Manufacturers fault.

Any Heater and Thermostat when fitted by Aquaglow Waterbeds for a customer (eg. when ordering a waterbed):- Two years Manufacturers fault Guarantee(unless stated otherwise). When fitted by the customer Two years(unless stated otherwise). 

Two years on the Carbon Classic heater -Five years on the Carbon Digital heater - Two years on the Keratec heater - One year on the Aluchrome heater.

Manufacturers fault on everything else:- One year (except consumables which have no guarantee eg. water conditioner, vinyl cleaner, repair kit).

INCORRECTLY ADDRESSED

Aquaglow cannot accept responsibility for goods sent to an incorrect/incomplete address provided by our customers.

MATTRESS STABILITIES & DEPTHS

Where waterbed mattress stabilities are specified, they are intended as a reasonable guide. The reasonable guide starts not from the fill date but after 3 months from a Correctly Fitted and Filled, De-Aired and Heated mattress installation date. The waterbed mattresses are design for the correct amount of people lay on them. e.g King size is for Two. Any more or less people using the waterbed mattress may result in a slightly different stability time period. Any inspection/timing of water movement before 3 months or with non or an incorrect number of people using, will be an inaccurate assessment of a correctly or incorrectly filled waterbed mattress. The correctly filled Aquaglow Waterbed mattress depth is 8 - 9 inch deep(203-228mm). Aquaglows waterbed mattresses are commonly known as 9 inch deep mattress when used by 2 people for a double size bed and above. Any more or less water in Aquaglow Waterbed mattress is an incorrect depth and may have a bearing on stabiltity and comfort.

NO LIABILITY FOR UNAVAILABILITY.

Aquaglow Waterbeds accepts no liability for any loss that may arise if the goods or services advertised within this website become unavailable.

ORDERED IN ERROR or NOW UNWANTED or APPROVAL.

Customers are responsible for ordering the correct items. Unused, Ordered in error or Unwanted items can be returned Unopened, Unused and in their Original Packaging (exept beds, mattresses, bedding and waterpillows). After the items have passed inspection Aquaglow will reimburse by the method of payment paid, or a cheque, or exchange the goods received minus any postage costs.

Appropriate postage and packing must be paid by the customer and is not refundable by Aquaglow. Goods must be returned unopened, and unused, undamaged, fit for resale, with all documentation and instructions. Any Free of Charge goods or items included with the price of the items ordered including instructions for goods must also be returned, if the customer decides to keep them they will be charged for at the current price. Goods must be returned within 7 days of purchase. Goods are not sold on a trial basis or approval.

Goods returned must be returned in the original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, the customer is responsible for wrapping and addressing the goods correctly and securely. Aquaglow Waterbeds will charge a modest sum for the repackaging and a modest sum of 10% for the re-stocking of items ordered in error or unwanted. Goods that will not need any repackaging will not be charged for repackaging.

ORDERS NOT RECEIVED

Please notify us first by telephone (01772 301922), and confirmed in writing within 28 days of placing the order.

PAYMENT

We accept all major Debit or Credit cards registered in the U.K., Sage Pay and Pay Pal.

It is agreed that all Debit or Credit cards used are registered to the card holders address in the U.K.

We accept payment by BACS, you will need to telephone us on 01772 301922 for details or see "Site and Payment Security" under "Help" above.

We do not accept any payments by cheques.

POSTAL and FREIGHT Costs

At present, delivery, fitting and filling is extra for most complete waterbeds on Mainland U.K.

For small mail order accessories and replacement parts Under 2kg, all postal/freight costs on our site are for Off Shore Islands and Northern Ireland and anywhere Mainland U.K.

For Larger mail order accessories and replacement parts Over 2kg, all postal/freight costs on our site are for Mainland U.K.

Off shore and Northern Ireland and certain Northern Scotland customers:- We gladly supply to Off Shore Islands and Northern Ireland and Northern Scotland but will attract an "at cost" surcharge (usually £19.95 and is beyond our control). PRICES

All prices include 20% VAT.

RETURNS/UNWANTED GOODS

After passing inspection of returned and unwanted accessories Aquaglow will reimburse the customer for the goods received minus any postage costs, by the method of payment paid, or a cheque.

Appropriate postage and packing must be paid by the customer and is not refundable. Goods must be returned within seven days, unopened, and unused, undamaged, fit for resale, with all documentation.

SHORTAGES in the order

Shortages/Missing items must be reported in writing within 3 days of receipt.

SIZES

All sizes are intended as a guide and are approximate.

IMAGES

Any images/artwork are intended as a reasonable guide and products may appear slightly different in real life.
