Can I have my goods delivered off shore? After reading the reviews for a similar item to drain our mattress, I bought this along with 15mtrs of hosepipe, I had a few hozelock connectors needed to complete the task. First make sure there is no air in the bed. Keeping the air out, screw the blue bit onto the mattress fill/drain hole to form an air-tight seal, connect the hosepipe and after a quick suck, drop the other end outside a window to below mattress height, using a simple siphoning effect to empty the mattress. I thought I would have to lift one end of the mattress to complete the task, but siphoning is enough to completely drain the mattress of water.
Once you figure out the process this is a lot easier AND cheaper than using pumps – set it going and get on with something else, the result was like a vacuum packed mattress ready to roll up and store. …. Brilliant!!
Filling is just the reverse process using an outside tap connector fixed to the shower, to another hozelock fitting and fill direct from your shower.
