Of all the handmade wooden beds we have produced the County Kerry bed longer than any other. It's packed with rustic charm. If you want traditional look - you can have it. It'll even work in a carefully decorated contemporary bedroom, it's packed with handmade detail. Start at the top of the headboard and footboard and your eye is drawn to the split barley twist turning that’s mounted onto the dog-tooth pediment. This pediment crowns both the multi panelled headboard and footboard. Unlike many other wooden beds all the small panels are individually made and mounted in a framework of rails and stiles in the old fashioned time honoured way. Once this is cramped together and set it's joined onto the posts with mortise and tenon joints.
